The Chariot
In a nutshell
You can’t steer in two directions at once.
Upright meaning
There are forces pulling you in different directions, and you don’t solve that by waiting for them to agree. The Chariot asks you to choose a direction and take the reins. Not because you have everything under control, but because movement requires a decision about where you’re going.
Reversed
In a nutshell: You're fighting yourself.
The problem may not be that you’re lacking direction — it may be that part of you is pulling against another part. You can push harder and still go nowhere when the forces inside you aren’t working together. The Chariot reversed asks what happens when control becomes struggle, or when you’re trying to force movement before you know what you’re actually moving toward.
